A rainy afternoon.
The first few Jurassic Park movies playing in background.
Two sheets plastic canvas in main body color.
One sheet plastic canvas in contrasting color.
Yarn (I use worsted).
X-Acto type blade & cutting mat (optional).
How do I fight back? By needle and thread, naturally.
I rounded up a a few dinosaur related patterns and knew right away that a 3D T-Rex puzzle would be awesome. He's adapted from the pattern in this book.
I changed colors based on what was within reach (well, and a bit more modern) and also left the face design off. Don't get me wrong, I apparently am on a mission to make traditional needlework cool again. But I think we can all agree on a little less kitsch!
